Post Office timings:
The post offices in India opens at 9:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm on all working days of the week. The working time of the post offices sometimes extends based on their work. People who want to visit the office can refer to these timings and go to the Indian Postal Office to get their work done.
Every Sunday the office will be closed. Some night post offices will be open on Sunday also. The office will remain closed on the holidays. The holidays of the offices will be the same as the government holidays. When the government organizations work, the post office also works.

Generally, the lunchtime for the post office will be from 1:30 to 2:30 in the afternoon. This lunchtime is given for the employees to take some rest and have their lunch.
The post office will open at 9 am, but all the employees come to the office at 10 am because it is the official time to start their work.
The post office working hours will also depend on the area where the office is located. If the postal office is the major branch and is located in the city, it will be open till 7 pm.
